The Merriest Time of the Year...

As we all know December is a very busy time of year. We are thankful for Grandparents who spend time with our kids to make it a memorable time.  I have been sick for a couple of weeks and haven't been able to cart Davis around to do fun Holiday stuff.  Here are some of the fun things he has done…

Davis helped Grandpa Kevin cut down a real Christmas tree for their house at the farm.

We missed the Schulz family baking day so Grandma Sheila brought some cookies over for Davis to frost and sprinkle. Grandpa Steve and Davis LOVED this treat!

Christmas on Main in Waverly- Grandpa and Grandma Westendorf took Davis to this fun event. He was SO excited and told me he got to see Elsa and Ana. Ana is his girl friend and she knows this too! ;)  He saw Santa and reindeer! Grandpa and him had hot cocoa and cookies also! Maybe this is why he slept so hard last night.

Andie's Baptism

We were so blessed to have so many family members able to come to celebrate with us Sunday. Andie was baptized at Orchard Hill Church in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Thank you to everyone for taking time for us!

Trick or Treat

We had an eventful Halloween season. Davis aka Batman LOVED his costume and wore it all over the place (including nap time). We decided this is way better than when he hated his tiger costume last year. Andie had cat ears to be Cat Woman, but it was cold and she dressed up as a bundled up cute baby girl instead. Halloween is also farming season so we actually tried trick or treating on Main Street in Waverly because Andrew was home that night. It was very busy!
Before all the pretty leaves fall we took a couple walks to get the mail. Miss Andie and her mom all snuggled up.

Davis playing in the woods.

Davis and Andrew enjoying the beautiful weather and pretty leaves.

Miss Andie is two months old already! My how she has grown! 11 pounds and 22 1/2 inches.

Harleigh, Davis and Cadence

Sunday, October 26th was trick or treating in Readlyn. Grandma Norma watched Andie so I could take Davis to a couple of houses. I think he had more fun sitting on the Regenold porch handing out candy with these two cuties!

Getting ready to walk around Main Street Waverly.

Batman was so excited that he was skipping from shop to shop. :) At least he had fun!

Andrew and Andie all bundled up. She was such a good girl as we walked around for an hour.

Carving Pumpkins

Wow, that's one big pumpkin!

Davis and Andie- our two little pumpkins

Thanks Uncle Sawyer and Aunt Chelle for the memories!

Andie's (Chelle's) pumpkin was an owl this year and Davis's (Sawyer's) pumpkin was a werewolf.

Last Weekend of Maternity Leave

The Otter Creek Orchard is open and we got to pick Honey Crisp Apples! Two big boxes for us (Davis didn't want to stop picking them).

Little Miss Andie- isn't she getting so big?

We made and frosted Halloween sugar cookies. Oops, Davis you aren't supposed to lick the frosting off your fingers. ;)

Uncle Seth played with Davis this weekend. They listened to The Ugly Duckling on tape.

Davis has two kittens (thanks to the Even family). They may look like cuddle bugs, but they are mice killers. ;) Davis named them Chug and Dotty after the movie Planes.  He loves to play with them and wants them to follow him all over the place.
