Spring is here...

Easter time with the Schulz Family.

Olivia, Andie and Davis playing with Belle (right).

Look at what Andie and Davis found!!
Fun on the John Deere train with cousins. Yes, sometimes even the adults get a ride with the kids. :)
Uncle Seth and Davis are exhausted after all the Easter festivities! (Yes, Davis does have an ice cream cone in his mouth.)

Biking

The weather is starting to get nicer and we can spend time outside. Davis wanted to try out his new bike on the trail. His smile was from ear to ear and he biked back and forth until his dad told him to stop. Andie was busy on the Strider and running after her brother. It looks like we have two kids that take after their Daddy!

Happy birthday Davis!

Happy birthday Davis! Can you believe he is already 5 years old??? This winter our family has been sick on and off. We were lucky enough to have one weekend where all four of us were healthy, so we met some family at a hotel. I am sure you can see the excitement on his face. :)

We can't think of the last time it was nice enough outside in February to have a campfire and eat hot dogs! This week we had an outdoor fire and an indoor fire because of the temperature change!!!

Somebody sure is getting big... a geared bike!!! Happy birthday buddy!

Winter is HERE!

We have waited so patiently for winter. There has been cold temps, freezing rain and just plain rain. Snow has been far and few. FINALLY, we got a nice snow fall and it called for canceled school. That meant the kids got to go outside and play...

Davis at wrestling practice. He is wrestling one of his good buddies. :) He really wanted Andie and I to come watch him.

We got up to St. Ansgar to drive around on Grandpa's snowmobiles.

Look at "Frosty"!

When I was little my mom used to make my brothers and I hug if we were fighting. Sunday was a day of back and forth arguing, so we tried hugging.
Davis was very proud of himself for putting together his farm puzzle.

Winter Break

Scarlett and Davis had a lot of fun with the snowmobiles. Davis was a little apprehensive driving and kept getting stuck. They switched and Scarlett took off full throttle. Davis then decided he would watch her because she was a crazy driver. ;)

Quinn, Andie and I watched the snowmobiling from indoors.

Christmas Eve
Fun sledding behind the snowmobiles at the farm.

Big Grandma Westendorf with a portion of the Westendorf kids.

This is my favorite time at church. Davis couldn't wait to have his own candle!

Andie holding her baby Collyns.

Grandma Sheila and Grandpa Steve smile with all the grandkids.

Pretty nails and big smiles! It's a rough life...

Of course we had to get our picture taken by the moose at Schools. :)

All is Merry and Bright!

December... Christmas is in the Air!

All our online Christmas shopping left us with LOTS of boxes! We have put them to good use by coloring and hiding in them. ;)

Here are the two kids in front of our tree, wearing Christmas Pajamas. I tried to get a nice one and they BEGGED to do a silly one.

50 Mile Run/ DC Trip

Andrew ran his very first 50 miler just outside DC. He had his own little cheer squad to help him along the way. We were VERY proud of him!

Andrew, Davis and Andie before the race.

Davis, Andie and I waiting for Andrew at 15 miles. (It was cold up in the mountains.)

Grandma Norma, Izaak, Andie and Grandpa Kevin cheering Andrew on.

Go Pack Go! It was a chilly, but fun night cheering on the Packers.

Davis holding his new baby cousin Eva. :)

Look at these dinosaur bones!

Andie and Ryder became close friends on this trip. :) I believe Andie loves her cousin Eva. She wanted to hold her the whole time. ;)

Air and space museum was fun for the kids.

Posing by the United States Capital.

This was a new monument for me to see. Fun to see it in person after reading the book Flags of our Fathers.

The Lincoln Memorial. Andie fell asleep in the stroller and missed out on this one.

Look at that view! Washington Monument and the Reflection Pool in the background.

Grandpa Kevin and Davis pose by the Vietnam Memorial. This is a wall of all the names of soldiers we lost during the war.

Davis smiles as we look at the WWII memorial.

Here is the white house!!!

The kids pose by the Washington Monument. It sure is big. Andie was disappointed the big pencil wasn't purple. :)

Another new one for me, MLK Monument.

Thanksgiving morning Andrew, Andie and I went for a jog on the mall. It sure is a beautiful scene.

Closing smiles from Izaak. He sure knows how to make us giggle!
